Working Conditions

• Exposure to changing and sometimes harsh weather conditions during outside duties.
• Indoor temperatures range from as low as 36°F in coolers to above 90°F in certain areas.
• Sudden temperature fluctuations between indoor and outdoor environments.
• Contact with food odors and cornmeal dust.
• Working in confined spaces such as walk-in coolers.
• Handling hot equipment with temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Interaction with sharp and moving mechanical components.

Sensory and Physical Demands

• Ability to communicate clearly via telephone.
• Good vision for near and mid-range tasks with depth perception.
• Discerning between hot and cold surfaces safely.
• Performing tasks while standing, walking short distances on various surfaces, and occasionally sitting for paperwork.
• Lifting and carrying supplies up to 50 pounds, including cases measuring up to 3 feet by 1.5 feet, often stacking on shelves up to 72 inches high.
• Handling items like large cans (3 pounds 7 ounces), pizza sauce (up to 30 pounds), and trays of pizza dough (approximately 12 pounds per tray) multiple at a time.
• Pushing and pulling dollies loaded with 24 to 30 trays requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.
• Occasional climbing of stairs or ladders for maintenance or signage tasks.
