Job Overview

We are seeking a responsible and punctual Delivery Driver to join our team and support our daily delivery and transport operations within Dubai. The successful candidate will ensure timely and safe transportation of goods to various customers and business locations. A valid UAE driving licence and familiarity with local road networks are essential, along with a professional demeanor when interacting with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up goods from warehouses or designated sites.
• Deliver items accurately and punctually as per schedule.
• Confirm items, quantities, and delivery paperwork before departure from the warehouse.
• Carefully load and unload goods to avoid damage.
• Secure customer signatures or delivery confirmations as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of deliveries completed and pending.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and time plans.
• Utilize navigation tools to determine efficient travel routes.
• Communicate delivery status regularly with the logistics team.
• Coordinate professionally with customers when necessary for delivery arrangements.
• Promptly report issues such as delays, incorrect addresses, or damaged goods.
• Collect authorized documents, returns, or payments as specified by the company.
• Organize delivery-related documents and receipts.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections before daily trips.
• Keep the vehicle clean and ensure proper maintenance.
• Immediately report vehicle issues, accidents, or damage.
• Comply with UAE traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Secure company property and documents during delivery.
• Assist with warehouse or logistics tasks when required.
• Carry out other delivery-related assignments from supervisors.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a valid UAE driving licence relevant to the company vehicle.
• Prior experience as a delivery, company, or courier driver is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Dubai's major roads and areas is advantageous.
• Familiarity with GPS and navigation applications.
• Maintain a safe and responsible driving history.
• Basic proficiency in English for communication.
• Ability to read addresses, instructions, and simple documents.
• Effective time management and route planning skills.
• Professional and courteous attitude in customer interactions.
• Physical capability to handle loading and unloading goods.
• Ability to work independently and follow schedules.
• Willingness to work additional hours when operationally necessary.
