Accountant

About the Position

The Accountant will be responsible for handling daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate bookkeeping, and ensuring compliance with the organization's policies. This role involves active coordination with various teams to aid in budgeting and forecasting efforts. The job requires consistent presence at the office location.

Key Duties

• Record general ledger entries and perform account reconciliations.
• Generate monthly financial reports and conduct variance analyses.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable operations.
• Provide support in payroll management and tax submissions.
• Oversee and enhance internal control processes.
• Organize audit timelines and supply necessary documentation.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and preparing financial reports.

Essential Qualifications

• Between one and three years' experience in an accounting role within a corporate setting.
• Familiarity with accounting applications such as QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalents.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Strong analytical capabilities coupled with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Capable of working both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Highly attentive to detail with a dedication to precision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience utilizing advanced features of Excel and performing data analyses.
• Knowledge of payroll systems and applicable tax laws.
• Prior involvement with audit processes and maintaining internal controls.
• Competence in supporting diverse departments and balancing multiple priorities.
