About the Role

We are seeking a warm, energetic, and customer-oriented Waiter or Waitress to become a valued part of our team. This position involves warmly welcoming guests, accurately taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring attentive service throughout the dining experience. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a positive mindset, and the capacity to work efficiently in a dynamic restaurant environment.

Primary Duties

• Warmly welcome and greet guests with professionalism.
• Escort patrons to their tables as needed.
• Present menus and clearly explain food, beverages, and specials.
• Accurately record customer orders and input them into the POS system.
• Ensure prompt and professional serving of food and beverages.
• Verify orders for accuracy and presentation prior to serving.
• Address guest inquiries and accommodate reasonable requests.
• Check on guests periodically during meals to ensure satisfaction.
• Communicate with kitchen and bar staff regarding orders and special requirements.
• Prepare tables before service and clean/reset after customers depart.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations.
• Handle billing and customer payments when necessary.
• Politely manage customer concerns, escalating serious issues to supervisors.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with opening and closing restaurant duties.
• Stay well-informed about menu items, ingredients, and promotions.
• Collaborate with team members during busy service hours.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the Restaurant Supervisor or Manager.

Candidate Requirements

• Completion of high school education or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in a waiter, waitress, or similar hospitality role is an advantage.
• Entry-level candidates with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn will also be considered.
• Proficiency in English communication is required; additional languages are beneficial.
• Demonstrated friendly and professional customer service manner.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods during shifts.
• Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong personal hygiene and professional appearance.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays as needed.
• Prior UAE hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
