Role Overview

As a member of the Trade Counter team based in Armidale, you will assist plumbers and tradespeople in obtaining necessary products for their construction and renovation projects, while performing tasks that ensure the branch operates efficiently.

Key Duties

• Deliver exceptional customer service by providing product information and advice.
• Prepare and provide quotes, both face-to-face and via telephone communication.
• Carry out picking, packing, and managing stock inventory activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within the branch environment.
• Deliver products to customers using a company vehicle in a timely and professional manner.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service, with a passion for assisting customers in person and by phone.
• Ability to efficiently pick orders, organize shop floor displays, and ensure the accuracy of information.
• Comfortable with computer use and eager to learn new systems and tools.
• Hold a clean, valid driver’s license and be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
• Motivated to grow their career either locally within the company’s network or at headquarters.
