Role Overview: Delivery Driver

The Delivery Driver position plays a crucial role in delivering excellent customer experiences. This fast-paced, store-centered role involves driving, installing, moving, and retrieving merchandise while demonstrating product usage to customers. The job requires engaging with customers both inside and outside the store, supporting daily operations, and representing the company within the community.

Work Details

• Maintain safe operation and appropriate securing of company vehicles during loading and transport of goods.
• Unload shipments, assemble/install merchandise, and provide demonstrations of product usage to customers.
• Assist with cleanliness and organization of merchandise displays and stock within the store.
• Keep detailed and accurate route documentation and weekly vehicle maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old (in the U.S.) or 18 (in Canada).
• Hold a valid state driver’s license, maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record compliant with Company Driver Qualification Policy.
• Obtain DOT certification if mandated by location.
• Ability to work shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds independently and up to 300 pounds with assistance or equipment.
• Work effectively outdoors in varying weather conditions, including rain and heat.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience handling household furniture and appliance moving.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent educational qualification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with company standards.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay for this role ranges from $13.75 to $14.50 per hour, subject to factors such as experience, location, and performance. Employees can access their earned pay on demand through an electronic wallet system. The benefits package includes paid time off (vacation, sick leave, holidays), Sundays and one other weekly day off, medical/dental/vision insurance options, health savings and flexible spending accounts, 401(k) with matching contributions, employee assistance programs, and purchase discounts.
