Role Overview
The Delivery Driver position is crucial to delivering excellent customer experiences. Responsibilities include driving, delivering, installing, and demonstrating merchandise to customers. The job involves both indoor and outdoor tasks including moving, loading, and assisting in store operations, with meaningful interaction within the community.
Compensation
The role offers an hourly wage between $17.00 and $18.00.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, load, and securely transport products while safely operating company vehicles.
- Unload, install, and provide demonstrations of merchandise to customers.
- Support store upkeep by cleaning and organizing items.
- Keep precise daily route and maintenance logs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 in Canada (21 in the United States).
- Valid driver’s license and adherence to the company’s driver policies, including a clean motor vehicle record.
- Capability to obtain Department of Transportation certification if required by location.
- Flexibility to work varying hours between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
- Physical ability to independently lift 50 pounds and up to 300 pounds with assistance or equipment.
- Willingness to work in outdoor weather conditions including rain and heat.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling household furniture and appliances.
- Completion of high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
