Role Overview
As a Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in ensuring a positive customer experience by efficiently transporting, installing, and demonstrating various products. This demanding role requires engagement both inside and outside the store, supporting operational needs and fostering connections within the community.
Compensation
The hourly wage ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour*
Responsibilities
- Prepare, load, and securely fasten merchandise onto company vehicles ensuring safe transportation.
- Unload products at customer locations, install them, and provide operational demonstrations.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of merchandise within the store premises.
- Keep accurate records including daily route documentation and weekly vehicle maintenance logs.
Qualifications
- A minimum age of 18 for Canadian positions (21 for U.S. roles).
- Valid driver’s license compliant with company policies, including a clean driving record.
- Capability to obtain Department of Transportation (DOT) certification if required.
- Flexibility to work hours between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 300 pounds using proper equipment or team assistance.
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain and heat.
Preferred Attributes
- Previous experience handling the moving of household furniture and appliances.
- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent certification.
- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
