Job Overview

This role involves the timely and secure transportation of goods, food, or packages from designated stores or hubs directly to clients' residences or businesses. The delivery person must ensure that items reach their destination in excellent condition while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Primary Duties

• Ensure timely delivery of orders to the accurate location, maintaining item integrity.
• Use digital or physical maps, GPS technology to devise the most effective delivery routes, optimizing time management.
• Process payments by collecting cash or through digital methods, and obtain customer signatures when required.
• Handle products carefully, giving special attention to delicate packages and hot food items.
• Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and practice safe driving habits consistently.
• Keep detailed daily records of deliveries completed and payments received.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Holder of a valid driving license for two-wheelers or cars.
• Possess a clean driving history devoid of significant traffic violations.
• Strong familiarity with local roads, including back routes and shortcuts.
• Able to use smartphones efficiently for navigation and managing order-related applications.
• Exhibit courteous behavior to foster positive interactions with customers.
• Physically able to lift and carry packages under various weather conditions.

Compensation Details

The monthly salary range for this position is between 20,000 and 40,000 Indian Rupees.
