The Deli Clerk position entails performing the complete array of responsibilities required for the role in a professional, dependable, accurate, and timely manner. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, enhancing customer loyalty, fulfilling various customer needs, and actively engaging in a positive environment for both employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Strictly follow all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety regulations, corporate guidelines, and other company programs and initiatives.
• Deliver excellent customer service tailored to customer needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and an organized appearance of the work area.
• Accurately process customer deli orders.
• Execute promotional programs and arrange product merchandising effectively.
• Handle and prepare deli products according to standards.
• Drive store sales by actively promoting deli products.
• Assist in mentoring and training junior team members.
• Order and receive inventory in line with company inventory management practices.
• Manage departmental shrinkage processes.
• Maintain a hygienic and safe working environment adhering to company regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
