Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the deli department layout and cleanliness.
• Rotate stock effectively and monitor products for expiry dates.
• Ensure all merchandise is clearly labeled with accurate pricing.
• Maintain compliance with food safety standards including cold chain protocols, thermometer accuracy, temperature logging, food handling, and product rotation.
• Take customer orders and prepare deli products such as sliced meats, cheeses, and fried chicken.
• Support front-end associates with price verifications when needed.
• Use equipment like slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, and deep fryers to prepare food items and specialty orders.
• Fill and arrange prepared salads and side dishes for display.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards or debris.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.05.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
