Key Duties

• Organize and maintain the deli department's presentation and inventory zones.
• Rotate stock regularly, monitor expiry dates, and remove outdated products.
• Ensure all merchandise is clearly labeled with accurate pricing.
• Follow stringent policies for cold chain compliance, including temperature checks, thermometer calibrations, proper food handling, and adherence to sell-by and expiry dates.
• Take and process orders for deli products such as sliced meats, cheeses, and fried chicken, assisting customers as needed.
• Support front-end associates by handling price check requests.
• Prepare deli food orders by slicing meats and cheeses using appropriate equipment like slicers and stackers, cook chicken using rotisserie ovens and fryers, and prepare salads and side dishes for display or special customer requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the deli area, ensuring it is free from debris, unnecessary fixtures, spills, or other hazards.

Compensation Details

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.05.
