Position Overview

Joining Walmart Canada as a Deli Associate offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your expertise within the retail sector. Key Responsibilities

• Organize and zone the deli section effectively.
• Manage stock rotation and monitor for any expired items.
• Ensure products have accurate signage and pricing.
• Comply with safety and quality standards including cold chain maintenance, thermometer calibration, temperature tracking, proper food handling, and ensuring products are within sell-by and expiration dates.
• Take orders for deli products and prepare items such as meats, cheeses, and fried chicken to customer specifications.
• Assist front-end staff with price verification as needed.
• Prepare various deli orders using slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, and deep fryers; arrange salads and side dishes for display and specialty customer requests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area, free from unnecessary debris or liquids.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position begins at $16.95 (also stated in French).
