Deli Assistant

Overview

The Deli Assistant will play a key role in preparing top-quality hot and cold deli items and consistently prioritizing customer satisfaction. This position requires an energetic and customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Embody and promote Centra's core brand values: Pride, Energy, Imagination, and Community focus.
• Prepare various fresh food orders, including sandwiches, rolls, hot dishes, and correctly portioned sliced meats following store guidelines.
• Cook, prepare, and ensure the attractive presentation of deli foods throughout the day.
• Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and display quality at the food counters at all times.
• Share enthusiasm for quality food by providing customers with knowledge, recipe ideas, and personal suggestions.
• Address customer inquiries promptly, professionally, and adhering to store policies.

Candidate Profile

• While HACCP training is preferred, it is not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Experience in customer service will be considered advantageous.
• The capability to collaborate effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks under pressure is important.
• A genuine passion for food and engaging shoppers with enthusiasm is desired.
