Deli Assistant

Job Overview

This role involves preparing a variety of high-quality hot and cold deli products while prioritizing excellent customer service. The candidate will actively embody the Centra brand values and maintain superior standards throughout all fresh food sections.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold Centra's brand values: Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, and Community-Focused.
• Prepare customer orders including sandwiches, rolls, hot dishes, and carefully sliced meats following portion control guidelines.
• Cook, prepare, and present deli foods continuously throughout the day.
• Maintain impeccable counter displays across all fresh food departments at all times.
• Share passion for quality food by offering knowledge, recipes, and personalized suggestions to customers.
• Respond efficiently and professionally to all customer inquiries adhering to store policies.

Candidate Profile

• Formal HACCP training is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Previous experience in customer service is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Genuine enthusiasm for food and inspiring customer engagement.
