Job Overview
The role of Deli Assistant focuses on crafting quality hot and cold deli items while prioritizing excellent customer service to ensure shopper satisfaction at Centra in Stillorgan.
Candidate Profile
- Training in HACCP is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong communication abilities are essential.
- Experience in customer service roles is advantageous.
- Capability to function well in a team under a dynamic and busy setting, with multitasking skills.
- Enthusiasm for food and the ability to engage and inspire customers.
Key Responsibilities

- Prepare customer orders including making sandwiches, rolls, cooking hot food, and slicing meats using portion controls as specified by the store.
- Cook, prepare, and arrange food items throughout the operational day.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation of deli counters and fresh food displays continuously.
- Showcase passion for quality food by providing customers with insights, recipes, and personal suggestions.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, following store policies and procedures.
