Role Overview
As a Defence Psychologist, you will lead diverse applied psychological research initiatives and provide vital services that enhance organisational preparedness and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee applied psychological research projects from conception to completion.
- Deliver professional psychological support to boost organisational readiness and efficiency.
- Plan, coordinate, and administer multiple research assignments.
- Guide and mentor junior personnel engaged in research activities, potentially stepping into leadership roles.
- Use psychological expertise to drive organisational enhancements.
- Perform and interpret psychological research relevant to the ministry's objectives.
- Keep abreast of the newest trends and advancements in applied psychology.
Candidate Requirements
- Academic qualification in Psychology.
- Strong aptitude for conducting applied psychological research.
- Effective interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of organisational psychology concepts.
- Proficiency in designing research and employing appropriate methodologies.
- Membership in the Singapore Psychological Society is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Open to applicants without prior professional experience.
