Decorator Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Decorator with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to superior craftsmanship. Join a reputable and well-established company specializing in high-quality painting and decorating services, particularly within the disrepair and mould remediation team.
Key Duties
- Prepare and apply paint to a variety of interior and exterior surfaces to meet top-tier quality standards.
- Manage disrepair cases involving damp and mould.
- Perform mould washing treatments efficiently.
- Deliver intricate decorative finishes as required by projects.
- Complete surface preparation tasks such as sanding and patching.
- Work diligently to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and safe.
- Collaborate closely with team members to fulfill client expectations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrable experience as a Decorator, either through formal qualification or significant practical experience.
- Expertise in multiple painting methods and decorative finishes.
- Familiarity with painting tools, equipment, and health and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Dependability and punctuality.
- Good communication abilities and a team-player attitude.
- A valid driving licence is essential.
Additional Information
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Southampton with a salary of GBP 34,000 per annum.
