Decorator Role Overview

Key Duties

• Prepare and apply paint to a variety of interior and exterior surfaces to meet top-tier quality standards.
• Manage disrepair cases involving damp and mould.
• Perform mould washing treatments efficiently.
• Deliver intricate decorative finishes as required by projects.
• Complete surface preparation tasks such as sanding and patching.
• Work diligently to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure all work areas are kept clean and safe.
• Collaborate closely with team members to fulfill client expectations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrable experience as a Decorator, either through formal qualification or significant practical experience.
• Expertise in multiple painting methods and decorative finishes.
• Familiarity with painting tools, equipment, and health and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Dependability and punctuality.
• Good communication abilities and a team-player attitude.
• A valid driving licence is essential.

Additional Information

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Southampton with a salary of GBP 34,000 per annum.
