About the Role
Become part of a locally owned retail store dedicated to providing essential health, beauty, and convenience services within your community. This position places customers at the center of all activities, delivering outstanding service and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Offer courteous and effective assistance to all customers, ensuring positive engagement at every interaction.
- Maintain the checkout area in an orderly and clean state.
- Welcome customers warmly as they enter.
- Execute accurate scanning or manual entry of product information for transactions.
- Precisely handle cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum card points during every sale.
- Politely request customers’ PC Optimum Cards at each transaction to track rewards.
- Complete necessary documentation regarding customer receipts and product returns.
- Display products appropriately in assigned areas through facing, labeling, and signage.
- Adhere strictly to loss prevention procedures and standards.
- Manage cash, lottery tickets, and stamp inventory responsibly.
- Present a professional image consistent with uniform and dress code standards.
- Follow all health, safety, and store policy regulations to ensure compliance.
- Maintain store cleanliness, including housekeeping standards and image upkeep.
- Perform additional tasks as requested to support store operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong decision-making and planning abilities.
- Capable of balancing teamwork integration with efficient processing of customer orders.
- Highly organized and neat in work approach.
- Effective and accurate order processing skills.
- Proficiency with computers and register systems.

Compensation
The hourly wage range for this position is from $16.60 to $18.05. The final rate depends on the candidate’s experience, skill set, and the location of the store.
