About the Role
Join Nyrstar Port Pirie as a Day Operator within their refinery's Production – Finished Products department. As a Plant Operator, you will handle equipment such as forklifts and cranes, playing an essential role in the safe and efficient processing of critical metals, turning raw ore into valuable metal products.
Work Schedule and Benefits
This position features a residential shift pattern with an equal-time roster, alternating between four to five consecutive working days followed by equivalent days off, offering a better work-life balance including two full weekends off each month.

Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in a refinery setting is highly preferred
- Must hold a current valid forklift (LF) licence
- Must hold a current valid bridge and gantry crane (CB) licence
- A strong focus on safety and the ability to work well within a team
- Preferably holds tickets such as Working at Heights and/or Confined Spaces
