Datacenter Manager

Overview

The Saudi National Bank is seeking an experienced Datacenter Manager responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and optimizing the bank's datacenter infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and high performance.

Primary Duties

• Manage daily datacenter functions including servers, storage systems, and networking components.
• Guarantee continuous availability, robust performance, and security of all datacenter systems and services.
• Strategize, design, and execute upgrades and expansion of datacenter infrastructure aligned with business growth and operational demands.
• Maintain the scalability and stability of the datacenter environment to meet changing needs.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery processes and ensure backup and recovery mechanisms for essential datacenter assets.
• Enforce stringent security policies and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies such as SAMA and AML/CTF regulations.
• Conduct routine security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
• Monitor and enhance datacenter performance through log analysis and optimization techniques to resolve any operational bottlenecks.
• Lead and nurture a team of datacenter engineers and administrators, fostering collaboration with IT operations, security teams, and business stakeholders to assure smooth datacenter functionality.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidate must be Saudi national.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline is required.
• Advanced certifications in datacenter technologies such as VMware, Microsoft, Cisco, or CompTIA are desirable.
• At least 5 to 8 years of experience managing datacenter operations, including minimum 3 years in leadership or managerial roles.
• Demonstrable experience managing large-scale datacenter setups within financial institutions.
• In-depth technical expertise in servers, storage, networking infrastructure, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Knowledge of cloud datacenter platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud is advantageous.
• Strong grasp of datacenter security, access controls, and regulatory adherence.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.

This position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
