Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator with 3 to 4 years of strong technical expertise in managing and resolving issues related to SQL Server environments. The ideal candidate will be skilled in troubleshooting SQL Server components such as Always On, Failover Cluster Manager, performance challenges, Agent Jobs, and replication processes. Proficiency in T-SQL scripting is necessary for analyzing stored procedures and code to identify and fix technical problems at both system and application levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve SQL Server problems including Always On configurations, Failover Cluster Manager, performance bottlenecks, SQL Server Agent Jobs, and replication issues.
- Write and review T-SQL scripts, analyze stored procedures and code to diagnose and address technical issues effectively.
- Maintain and monitor Windows Server environments, including server logs, storage systems, printer services, and IIS web services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of Active Directory and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with SQL Server backup and recovery methodologies.
- Experience working with enterprise-level software solutions is an advantage.
- Good command of English for verbal and written communication.
