Role Overview

As a Data Scientist (m/w/d) at Machine Learning Reply GmbH, you will independently craft and deploy data models and algorithms tailored to client-specific solutions. Your work involves identifying and analyzing issues through an analytical lens.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and dashboards, collaborating across various data components, including platforms, dashboards, and machine learning-driven products.
• Handle complex projects and data sets by analyzing business problems and translating them into data science solutions.
• Leverage strong communication skills to closely collaborate with clients, understanding their challenges and effectively conveying results.
• Operate across diverse technology stacks such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, DBX, ELK, Spark, and Databricks.
• Act as mentor to junior data scientists and facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.

Candidate Profile

• University degree in a quantitative or business field such as Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematical Economics, or Business Administration.
• Relevant experience in data science, data management, or production system development with solid skills in languages like Python, R, Rust, PySpark, or SQL.
• Familiarity with foundational statistics and machine learning concepts, including practical applications in production such as NLP, recommender systems, time series analysis, and computer vision.
• Experience working with Cloud platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
• Proficient communication skills in German and English, with a readiness to engage effectively.
• Strong willingness to learn, team-oriented mindset, and ability to clearly explain technical concepts.
• Good project management capabilities, able to work both independently and collaboratively within teams.
