Opportunity Overview

  • Role Type: Full-time, permanent position

As a Data Scientist, you'll advance our pricing strategy by enhancing machine learning models, analytics tools, data pipelines, and automation solutions. The role involves close collaboration with Pricing & Revenue teams, Data Science, and other departments to integrate varying data sources, craft and validate ML models, and deliver actionable insights to support pricing decisions. There is scope to explore AI advancements and modern data platforms to propel pricing innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, integrate, and prepare data for modeling purposes.
  • Create, test, and iterate on pricing-focused statistical and ML models.
  • Develop and improve Python and SQL-based analytics tools, dashboards, and automation to support pricing frameworks.
  • Work alongside Data and ML Engineers to operationalize and maintain models and data pipelines in production.
  • Communicate findings from complex modeling clearly to both technical peers and business stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong expertise in Python programming, SQL querying, statistical methods, and machine learning algorithms.
  • Over two years of direct experience as a Data Scientist or in an applied quantitative analytics role.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, evaluate, and validate robust statistical and ML models effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating analyses to interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Preferred but Not Mandatory

  • Background in pricing strategy, revenue management, or demand forecasting.
  • Familiarity with Databricks, PySpark, AWS cloud services, and model automation/production processes.
  • Understanding of mathematical optimization techniques.
