Data Science Assistant Manager

Job Purpose

The position is accountable for identifying, designing, and delivering analytics use cases that cut across various functions to improve decision-making capabilities within business units and functional units. Deliverables include dashboards, reports, tools, real-time interactive analytics, and predictive analyses that support effective business decisions. The role also involves managing resource allocation for advanced analytics projects and providing appropriate support to business units as needed, all while adhering to established company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and select a specialized team of advanced analytics professionals and data scientists (SWAT team) to address cross-sector and strategic requests, including those at the CEO level.
• Ensure effective collaboration between the SWAT team and insight specialists or data scientists embedded within specific business units to supplement capacity or offer guidance for analytical tasks.
• Allocate advanced analytical resources from the SWAT team to fulfill complex and standardized analytics demands of business and functional units.
• Identify and propose cross-functional analytics initiatives based on existing data assets and business needs.
• Evaluate and prioritize the execution of cross-functional analyses by assessing their potential to generate value for the organization.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 5 years' professional experience is required, preferably in telecommunications, financial services related to information products, or e-commerce sectors.

Educational Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is mandatory. Additional certifications are desirable.
