Key Responsibilities

• Design, create, and sustain automation tools for server and infrastructure management.
• Develop automated patching pipelines to manage large-scale database environments effectively.
• Boost patch compliance and operational efficiency through automation efforts.
• Maintain and optimize critical server and database platforms continuously.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to automated patching and infrastructure.
• Build operational tools and workflows that minimize manual tasks and enhance outcomes.
• Create monitoring, reporting, and observability tools to increase operational transparency.
• Collaborate with platform and database experts to discover automation and improvement possibilities.
• Support both cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure ecosystems.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is passionate about solving infrastructure and operational challenges through automation. They understand the importance of not just maintaining but improving platform reliability, security, and compliance. Candidates typically have backgrounds in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Automation Engineering and possess hands-on troubleshooting skills coupled with curiosity and pragmatism.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven expertise in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience managing or supporting Windows server environments.
• Strong background in building and supporting automation in enterprise settings.
• Proficiency in Python scripting or development.
• Solid experience with infrastructure operations or roles such as Site Reliability, Platform, or Automation Engineer.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Comfortable working within Agile and DevOps frameworks.
• Comfortable writing SQL and working with database technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Ansible or related automation platforms.
• Familiarity with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools like Elastic.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise infrastructure.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure environments.
• Understanding of database services or platforms.
• Background in improving patching, compliance, or operational management processes.
• Usage of AI-assisted tools to enhance development and problem-solving efficiency.
