Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Privacy Specialist to assist in executing and overseeing our organization's privacy initiatives, particularly focusing on the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and supervise compliance with privacy policies and PDPL mandates.
- Create and update Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).
- Perform Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
- Handle Data Subject Rights (DSR) requests effectively.
- Assist with assessments and investigations related to personal data breaches.
- Evaluate privacy practices of external vendors through assessments.
- Provide support in assessing cross-border data transfers.
- Maintain registers documenting privacy risks and proof of compliance.
- Contribute to compliance activities involving Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365.
- Generate privacy performance reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and educational materials for awareness and training.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to Data Privacy or Data Protection.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Saudi PDPL requirements.
- Hands-on expertise in managing ROPA, conducting DPIAs, and processing DSR requests.
- Experience performing privacy assessments of vendors and conducting compliance reviews.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Purview is mandatory.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic languages.
- Preferred certifications include CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CDPSE, or their equivalents.
