Overview
KalSoft seeks an experienced Senior IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) / Business Process Management (BPM) Developer to join their team onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining automated business process solutions tailored to banking and financial services operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement business process workflows using IBM BAW specifically for core banking functions such as loan origination, account opening, trade finance, and customer onboarding.
- Collaborate closely with business units and key stakeholders to fully grasp banking process needs and convert them into robust technical designs.
- Integrate the IBM BAW platform with existing core banking systems and various financial applications.
- Diagnose and resolve software issues, enhance application efficiency, and support ongoing workflow application maintenance.
- Engage throughout the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and production maintenance phases.
- Prepare and update comprehensive technical documentation for workflow applications and solutions.
- Ensure all developed solutions comply with business objectives, technical standards, security protocols, and banking regulatory requirements.
Prerequisites
- At least five years of direct experience developing with IBM Business Automation Workflow or IBM BPM.
- Demonstrated experience on projects in the banking or financial services industries.
- Solid knowledge and application of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN).
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and building REST and SOAP web services.
- Strong command of database fundamentals and SQL.
- Previous work experience within Saudi Arabia is mandatory.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) regulations and relevant banking compliance standards.
- Expertise in secure coding methods and data privacy requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Effective written and spoken English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Appian BPM platform is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automation.
- Previous exposure to Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Background in enterprise banking process automation projects.
- Knowledge of integration patterns and enterprise application integration approaches.
