About the Role
TCS is seeking an experienced Data Modeler with 5 to 10 years of professional experience to join their team in Gurugram, Haryana, India. The role involves designing and managing various aspects of data modeling within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to meet business requirements.
- Create dimensional models for data warehousing projects.
- Implement data normalization and denormalization techniques effectively.
- Design and maintain entity relationship models for data architecture.
- Manage data lineage and metadata to ensure data traceability and accuracy.
- Oversee Master Data Management (MDM) processes for data consistency.
- Organize and maintain data catalogs for easy data discovery.
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience range between 5 and 10 years in data modeling.
- Strong knowledge in conceptual, logical, physical, and dimensional modeling.
- Expertise with data warehouse modeling practices.
- Familiarity with data normalization/denormalization techniques.
- Proficient in managing data lineage, metadata, and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Understanding of data cataloging and data security compliance.
