About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Data Modeler with 8 to 10 years of professional experience in data modeling, particularly with a robust understanding of the Insurance sector. The role requires proficient use of the Erwin Data Modeler tool to craft scalable, coherent, and business-focused data models.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create conceptual, logical, and physical data models to meet business needs.
• Build and manage data models utilizing Erwin Data Modeler software.
• Analyze detailed business requirements and convert them into practical data architectures.
• Define entities, attributes, relationships, keys, and related data definitions that support business functions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Adhere to enterprise-wide data standards and best practices while developing models.
• Identify and resolve data modeling issues including quality and integration challenges.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and metadata related to data models.
• Provide support to teams involved in database design, data integration, and application development.
• Leverage deep knowledge of Insurance data and business processes to enhance data models.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of in-depth experience in data modeling.
• Extensive hands-on expertise with the Erwin Data Modeler tool.
• Proficient in developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Solid understanding of database fundamentals, including relationships, keys, and normalization techniques.
• Strong familiarity with Insurance domain data and processes.
• Excellent analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and capability to manage various stakeholder expectations.
