Overview

We are seeking skilled Data Engineers based in Perth, Western Australia, with expertise in constructing modern data platforms and providing scalable data solutions tailored to business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines aligned with business demands.
• Leverage Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building and refining data solutions.
• Create effective data models, including dimensional and relational designs, to support analytics and reporting functions.
• Collaborate with various teams to deliver data-driven outcomes that meet organizational objectives.
• Maintain data integrity through quality assurance, governance standards, and best practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Azure Databricks for data engineering tasks.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) to create robust ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling techniques: dimensional and relational schemas.
• Hands-on experience with data integration and ETL/ELT processes.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake and cloud data platforms for scalable storage.
• Advanced SQL skills along with performance optimization capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and adeptness at problem-solving.

Location

This role is based in Perth, Western Australia and requires onsite presence.
