Data Analyst

About the Role

This position as a Data Analyst is based in Pune, India with shift timings from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST. The successful candidate will be instrumental in creating and delivering data-centric strategies that address a variety of business needs within the energy or automotive sectors. The role requires applying strong analytical methods, thorough testing, and interpreting data to aid investigative research and produce comprehensible reports and recommendations to various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply advanced analytical techniques and testing methods to generate insightful data interpretations.
• Conduct in-depth investigative research, ending with clear conclusions and actionable recommendations.
• Maintain operational safety, compliance, and reliability in experimental procedures.
• Support continuous enhancement of processes associated with data-driven initiatives.
• Utilize SQL, Python, and Power BI for processing, analyzing, and communicating data findings effectively.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver practical and meaningful insights.
• Ensure adherence to established data policies and standards.
• Support efforts related to data quality control and governance.
• Partner with data management and data science teams to improve organizational data capabilities and foster innovation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in data analytics, preferably in the energy or automotive industries.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a similar quantitative discipline.
• Proven experience with data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools including SQL, Python, and Power BI.
• Strong ability to craft data narratives that simplify complex information and communicate insights effectively to senior leadership and business units.
• Solid understanding of data structures, modeling techniques, and data processing workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, ideally Databricks and AWS environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for delivering complex data clearly.
• Competence in employing statistical and machine learning methods for data analysis.
• A passion for data-driven problem-solving and continuous learning.
• Knowledge of electric vehicle and renewable energy sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Self-motivated with a strong inclination towards continuous enhancement and procedural efficiency.
• Capability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage a demanding workload.
