About the Role
We are working with a rapidly expanding, mission-driven company based in Sydney looking to hire two Data Analysts. This is an ideal role for early-career analysts eager to do more than just generate reports. You will collaborate closely with teams in Operations, Finance, and leadership to leverage data in answering critical business questions, enhancing reporting, and automating workflows across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Developing SQL queries to extract business insights
- Building, maintaining, and refining internal reporting systems
- Handling large operational datasets with BigQuery
- Communicating data findings clearly to non-technical audiences
- Supporting reports for executive, operational, and financial teams
- Detecting anomalies and validating data quality instead of just reporting figures
- Enhancing and automating existing data processes
- Resolving reporting and data integrity problems
- Using Jira to manage tasks and track issues
- Understanding stakeholder goals to effectively harness data support
Candidate Profile
- Approximately 2 to 3 years of experience in Data Analytics, BI, and Reporting
- Proficiency and independence in SQL query writing
- Familiarity with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouse technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Commercial awareness with the ability to critically validate your outputs
- Effective communication skills to present insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Inquisitive attitude, readily investigating any irregularities in data
