Key Duties

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and zoning of the Dairy/Frozen department to ensure it is always customer-ready.
• Routinely rotate stock and check for expired items to sustain product freshness and quality standards.
• Guarantee accurate pricing and signage of products, following established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, and labeling.
• Comply with cold chain management, food safety, sanitation standards, including temperature monitoring, proper food handling, and maintaining sell-by and expiration date accuracy.
• Support merchandising initiatives and maintain feature displays to uphold promotional standards.
• Keep a safe, clean, and hazard-free workspace by removing debris, spills, and unnecessary items, adhering to company policies and health and safety guidelines.
• Exhibit flexibility by being available to work varying schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.

Challenges

• Manage high workload volume in a dynamic environment, requiring effective planning to maintain energy and focus during overnight and busy hours.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for long durations, bending, and lifting inventory weighing up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Conduct repetitive activities like stocking and zoning with consistent attention to detail to meet store standards.
