Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and proper zoning of the Dairy/Frozen section to guarantee it is always presentable for customers.
• Regularly rotate stock and monitor expiration dates to uphold product freshness and quality standards.
• Ensure all merchandise is accurately priced and signed by following prescribed procedures for ordering, clearance, markdowns, signage, flagging, and labeling.
• Comply with cold chain protocols, food safety standards including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, correct food handling, and sanitation practices.
• Support merchandising by maintaining department displays that enhance promotional efforts and uphold merchandising guidelines.
• Keep the work environment tidy, safe, and free from hazards by removing debris and spills, adhering to company policies and health and safety regulations.
• Demonstrate flexibility by being willing to work various shifts such as evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business.

Challenges

• Effectively handle high task volumes in a fast-paced setting, including managing overnight hours with proper planning to maintain energy and focus.
• Complete substantial restocking and recovery tasks efficiently and accurately within shift deadlines.
• Perform physically demanding duties, including standing for long periods, bending, and lifting inventory or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Carry out repetitive activities like stocking, zoning, and organizing with consistent attention to detail to meet store standards.
