About the Organisation
Our client is a well-established professional entity currently engaged in a major technology and digital transformation initiative. They are investing in innovative technology solutions aimed at modernising user experiences, optimizing processes, and improving overall service delivery across the organisation.
Role Overview
The organisation is embarking on a substantial transformation to deploy new technology systems that will support customers, users, and internal teams alike. The Solutions Architect will join the Business Technology team, reporting directly to the Head of Strategy, Design and Delivery, who reports to the CIO.
Core Responsibilities
As a pivotal figure in the design, implementation, and integration of a continuously evolving technology framework, the Solutions Architect will lead efforts focused on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. This role is integral to the replacement of legacy systems with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Business Central, alongside other technology-driven initiatives.
The architect will engage with various stakeholders, including suppliers, Project Management, Delivery, QA, and Operations teams, to ensure that solutions meet technical demands and align with the organisation's strategic goals.
Qualifications and Professional Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in design and architecture, ideally coupled with solution delivery or development expertise.
- Proven success leading design and deployment of large-scale enterprise software projects.
- Expertise implementing ERP systems using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or prior versions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Business Central modules.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Experience in service-oriented architecture, microservices, and API design.
- Experience deploying Generative AI solutions is a plus.
Technical Competencies
- Experience working with multiple technology layers such as database, backend development, integrations, and user experience design.
- Understanding of network and security architectures.
- Knowledge of data integration methods and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with data management, analytics, and business intelligence tools.
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification is advantageous.

- Strong skills in relationship-building and collaboration across all organisational levels.
- A thoughtful, solution-focused mindset in problem solving and decision-making.
- Ability to work autonomously while cooperating with third-party service providers.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.

- Proven leadership in facilitating discussions, supporting decision-making, and guiding teams toward successful project outcomes.
