Job description
Role Overview
As a Cybersecurity Officer based in Belgrade, you will handle diverse cybersecurity support requests across the organization. Your role will involve advancing business initiatives, enhancing organizational awareness of cybersecurity, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies and mandates. You will also contribute to building internal cybersecurity capabilities and nurturing communities focused on improving the overall cybersecurity stance.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce company-wide adherence to cybersecurity policies and mandates.
- Advise junior management and cybersecurity groups on policies, core processes, and best practices.
- Promote cybersecurity goals within local communities to boost security awareness.
- Evaluate and fulfill the cybersecurity needs of Siemens Energy's business units.
- Establish and support Communities of Cyber Security Ambassadors to encourage cybersecurity culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional cybersecurity teams and other business areas to reinforce cybersecurity functions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A university degree or equivalent experience in IT, cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
- At least five years of professional experience in enterprise cybersecurity or IT, demonstrating versatility across various industries and functions.
- Ability to work effectively within multicultural, multinational teams.
- Strong self-motivation with a focus on quality outcomes and ability to influence stakeholders.
- Business fluent English and proficiency in local languages; capable of communicating technical information in business terms.
- Experience ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies aligned with industry standards and regulations.
