Job description
Overview
This role entails complete oversight of complex, significant projects in the oil and gas and energy sectors, ensuring projects align with company goals and meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the planning, execution, and delivery of Long-Term Partnership projects aligned with business and client objectives.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and plans to guarantee milestones are achieved as scheduled.
- Track project performance through metrics, analyze deviations from plans, and apply corrective measures as necessary.
- Maintain continuous, clear communication with all stakeholders throughout project phases.
- Identify and evaluate project risks and devise effective risk mitigation techniques.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project team members, promoting ongoing professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or similar fields.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing long-term projects in energy or closely related industries.
- Certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
- Experience managing large-scale projects from initiation to closure within energy or related sectors.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with capability in leading cross-functional teams and mentoring juniors.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and risk management abilities.
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is favorable.
