IT/OT Partner

Position Overview

Join Siemens Energy as an IT/OT Partner based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, where you will spearhead the establishment of IT and Operational Technology infrastructure for a new factory in the region. This role suits those with expertise in IT infrastructure and system administration who are passionate about contributing actively to launching the Transformers Asia business unit. You'll work in close cooperation with interdisciplinary teams to implement technology solutions aligned with innovative energy objectives while promoting collaboration, support, and ongoing enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside project teams to identify and execute IT/OT needs for the new manufacturing site.
• Set up and administer network infrastructure such as LAN, WAN, and wireless connectivity.
• Deploy servers and manage operating systems critical to factory processes.
• Deliver first- and second-tier technical assistance related to hardware and software to users.
• Apply network security protocols to safeguard the IT/OT environment.
• Adhere to corporate security guidelines and perform consistent system monitoring.

Candidate Profile

• Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Between three and five years of professional experience in IT, notably in systems administration and network oversight.
• Practical skills troubleshooting and supporting technology within industrial environments.
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructures, network devices, and OS platforms.
• Possession of certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ is advantageous.
• Strong analytical abilities with dedication to security and compliance standards.
