Job description

Role Overview

As a cybersecurity specialist within the global Training & Awareness team, you will provide expert knowledge underpinning our communication campaigns, training programs, and awareness sessions. Your role combines strategic foresight and practical execution by identifying new cyber threats, trends, and regulations affecting Siemens Energy and turning these insights into impactful training material for our worldwide workforce. Collaborating closely with global cybersecurity peers, internal stakeholders, and training professionals, you will help embed cybersecurity deeply into the corporate culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central cybersecurity content expert for the entire Training & Awareness team.
  • Predict upcoming cybersecurity risks and regulatory changes, converting them into focused training and awareness initiatives.
  • Maintain quality and consistency across all training and communications through expert review and guidance.
  • Co-develop innovative awareness and learning formats, supporting their pilot and rollout for varied audiences ranging from shop floor staff to senior leaders.
  • Assist Cybersecurity Officers and business units with designing, scaling, and delivering awareness campaigns.
  • Lead the creation of a unified Human Risk reporting framework across awareness platforms and propose actionable improvements based on insights gathered.

Candidate Profile

  • Deep cybersecurity expertise with the talent to explain complex technical subjects understandably to diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record in designing, delivering, and expanding cybersecurity training and awareness programs.
  • Ability to transform cybersecurity risk information into practical, effective educational strategies.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Cybersecurity and an understanding of the unique demands of office versus manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Adaptable communication and teaching skills tailored to a wide range of groups, including shop floor workers and executives.
  • Highly proactive and structured in independently advancing initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
