Role Overview

We are seeking an Executive Manager to lead a Cyber Security squad with over 12 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering. This position demands expertise in DevSecOps, cloud security (Azure and AWS), and AI/LLM security, particularly within regulated sectors such as banking. The candidate will be responsible for managing four key workstreams—Application Security, AI Governance, Continuous Security Validation, and Compliance Trail—ensuring strict adherence to policies and readiness for CBUAE inspections.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a squad managing application security, AI governance, continuous security validation, and compliance operations aligned with second line of defense policies.
• Oversee and optimize the integrated tooling environment including SonarQube, Snyk, ServiceNow IRM, Security Agent, Claude, Codex, OPA, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and AWS Security Hub.
• Maintain the evidence chain linking DefectDojo, Attestation, and Power BI for reporting purposes.
• Serve as the primary interface between the first and second lines of defense and AI Center of Excellence, chair the Security Champions Guild, prioritize cross-workstream activities, and present governance dashboards to the second line of defense.
• Established bank-wide DevSecOps pipeline with high success metrics (200+ repositories, >95% pass rate, zero critical issues in production).
• Implemented AI procurement controls using ServiceNow IRM compliant with ISO 42001 and NIST AI RMF, managing over 80 AI use cases with integrated risk registers.

Essential Qualifications & Certifications

• At least 12 years in cybersecurity engineering with leadership experience.
• Strong background in banking or other regulated industries.
• Working knowledge of CBUAE regulations including Decree-Law 6/2025 and associated guidelines.
• Experience with frameworks such as NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - mandatory.
• Additional certifications: CCSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISM, ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer, Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP) or similar. Desirable: SABSA, GIAC GCSA.
