About the Role
PwC New Zealand is recruiting a seasoned Technical Delivery Lead to join the Customer Transformation team based in Wellington. The position seeks a professional with deep Salesforce expertise combined with comprehensive experience in enterprise technology, including integration, cloud solutions, and digital platforms. This role requires balancing hands-on technical aptitude with delivery leadership, collaborating with architects, developers, and engineers while engaging effectively with business stakeholders to execute complex transformation projects. An ability to comprehend front-office business processes and navigate technical dialogues is essential to ensure scalable, practical solutions aligned with client goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Steer the full lifecycle delivery of Salesforce and enterprise technology change initiatives, guaranteeing successful client outcomes.
- Develop and implement scalable integration solutions interfacing Salesforce with various enterprise systems using modern API methods and integration patterns.
- Provide accurate project delivery estimates and oversee technical aspects spanning Salesforce, integration, and other enterprise technologies.
- Champion an engineering-focused culture by bridging business needs with robust engineering practices.
- Lead and support multidisciplinary delivery teams across multiple client projects, eliminating obstacles and maintaining execution quality.
- Apply Salesforce best practices, mindful of the wider enterprise architecture and technical ecosystem.
- Build long-term trusted partnerships with clients by offering strategic technical guidance throughout project lifecycles.
- Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within current engagements and support new business development efforts.
- Ensure all project delivery complies with PwC’s methodologies, governance standards, and risk management protocols.
- Incorporate AI and emerging technological innovations to boost delivery efficiency, quality, and uniformity.
- Mentor and nurture consultants and technical personnel, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Stay abreast of Salesforce advancements, integration technologies, and evolving digital transformation trends to spur innovation for clients.
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated success in leading intricate Salesforce and enterprise technology projects.
- Strong mastery of Salesforce platforms such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud; Salesforce certifications are highly valued.
- Expertise in designing and executing enterprise-grade integration using APIs, middleware platforms, and contemporary integration frameworks.
- Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, cloud technology, and customer-centric digital platforms.
- Robust technical proficiency enabling effective collaboration with architects, developers, and engineers while translating technical details for business audiences.
- Proven leadership of diverse teams within Agile and hybrid delivery contexts.
- Exceptional stakeholder communication skills facilitating trusted client relationships.
- Business insight with experience influencing proposals, project estimations, and supporting commercial development efforts.
