Role Overview
We seek full-time Customer Service Representatives to join our Federal Government support team located in Modbury. In this position, you will be the initial friendly and professional contact for customers, assisting them with problem solving, accessing key services, and achieving optimal results.
Every customer interaction is unique, requiring empathy, attentive listening, and strong problem-solving to provide exceptional service experiences.
Whether you come from healthcare, hospitality, retail, customer service, call centres, or are new to the industry, we provide comprehensive training, resources, and ongoing leadership support to help you excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming customer inquiries through phone, email, and processing tasks
- Quickly establish rapport while delivering accurate and timely information
- Follow defined processes and guidelines to identify and resolve customer issues
- Achieve Key Performance Indicators for customer satisfaction and service quality
Candidate Requirements
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy, even under time constraints
- Collaboration skills contributing to a positive team environment
- Empathy and patience, particularly when supporting customers facing challenges
- Comfortable using multiple computer systems with a typing speed of at least 20 words per minute
- Australian citizenship with eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Previous customer service or call centre experience is beneficial but not mandatory; transferable skills are valued and training is provided
Working Hours
This full-time role involves rostered shifts Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 7:30pm on a rotating schedule, offering some flexibility for personal commitments outside of work.
