Role Overview

Join Farm Boy's team to help deliver a welcoming and fresh shopping environment known for its outstanding customer service and attractive department presentation. This role requires attention to detail and enthusiasm for teamwork to ensure products are displayed attractively and customers receive support throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, confident, and engaging customer service that aligns with Farm Boy’s fresh shopping experience standards.
• Greet and assist customers warmly while sharing knowledge and enthusiasm about products, adhering to Farm Boy Service Standards.
• Package, stock, and rotate merchandise on counters and shelves, ensuring excellent presentation and correct signage.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in work and storage areas with routine housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Adhere strictly to corporate policies and procedures, focusing strongly on Health & Safety, Food Safety, and proper use of equipment.
• Complete opening and closing tasks as assigned and provide support to team members as needed.
• Undertake additional duties periodically to support the team.

Candidate Qualifications

• A strong passion for delivering personable and exceptional customer service.
• Retail experience is valued; alternatively, an equivalent blend of education and experience will be considered.
• Capability to work independently, paying close attention to detail, ensuring high-quality outcomes and maintaining cleanliness.
• A collaborative spirit with good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that involves meeting multiple deadlines, extended standing, lifting heavy items, and working in varying conditions including cold storage and outdoors.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in English is required; French language skills are advantageous.
