About the Role
Join the Freight Forwarding team at Kuehne+Nagel and become a vital part of transporting diverse goods like medicines, toys, and important machinery components. Your role will help make significant moments possible globally by optimizing logistics processes and fulfilling customer commitments.
Primary Responsibilities
- Handle client consignment requests received through email, phone, and the Quickonline booking platform by routing, categorizing service types, setting deadlines, and preparing job orders.
- Oversee the green light approval procedure for shipments destined outside the EU.
- Provide clients with regular updates about shipment statuses, including delays, proof of delivery, extra charges, and problem resolutions.
- Manage client communications via shared email inboxes.
- Arrange and calculate the use of appropriate temperature-controlled packaging and monitoring equipment.
- Track consignments during transit and process relevant client reports and manifests.
- Respond promptly to special alarms within Quick Track.
- Build and sustain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with the pricing team to promptly deliver client quotation requests.
- Assist Customer Relationship and Key Account Managers to ensure customer satisfaction through timely service of bookings and queries.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience in customer service roles.
- Familiarity with freight forwarding processes is advantageous.
- Understanding of country-specific regulations for importing and exporting pharmaceutical products.
- Knowledge of global time zones.
- Strong time management and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient computer skills.
Working Hours
The position follows rotating shifts: 08:00 - 16:30, 09:00 - 17:30, or 11:00 - 19:30.
