Customer Delivery Driver - Fraserburgh Superstore

Overview

As a Customer Delivery Driver representing Tesco on the road, you will meet customers at their homes daily, delivering not just shopping but exceptional service with a friendly demeanor. This role involves active physical work and diverse tasks, offering a different experience every day. Although much of your work will be independent, a supportive team will be available to assist you as needed.

Key Duties

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your delivery van, trays, and work area to ensure customers receive their shopping in excellent condition.
• Load your van safely and carry out all necessary checks to confirm it is safe, reliable, and ready for deliveries.
• Communicate clearly and kindly with customers about any order modifications, substitutions, or items nearing expiry, providing refunds when appropriate to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Handle all products carefully, treating each order as if it were your own to uphold quality and customer trust.
• Deliver orders within the allotted time window, offering warm and natural customer service that leaves customers feeling appreciated and well cared for.

Candidate Profile

• Foster strong teamwork and positive relationships with colleagues to enhance service quality.
• Exhibit a welcoming and friendly attitude toward both customers and team members.
• Adapt promptly to changing customer requirements and embrace changes while working on the road and at the store.
• Possess a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) held for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
