Customer Delivery Driver (Airside)

About the Role

As a Customer Delivery Driver on the airside team, you serve as a vital representative of dnata catering & retail, responsible for the crucial task of loading catering items onto aircraft. This hands-on position involves handling airline trolleys, transporting them safely to planes using hi-lift trucks, and coordinating closely with cabin crew to ensure accurate delivery and removal of empty carts.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive short distances on the airside and conduct basic vehicle checks including refueling.
• Load and unload catering supplies, carts, and ovens from trucks to aircraft while managing discrepancies appropriately.
• Safely guide and position trucks according to company, airport, and airline regulations.
• Collaborate with airline cabin staff to ensure smooth aircraft servicing and delivery handover.
• Complete administrative tasks, maintain reports, and carry out general cleaning as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a clear national police check.
• Hold an MR or HR driver's license is preferred; applicants without these qualifications may join initially as a marshaller.
• Capable of performing regular manual handling duties.
• Flexible to work on a 7-day rotating roster aligned with flight schedules.
• Able to commit to a full-time, 38-hour weekly permanent position.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic numeracy skills for accurate record-keeping and reports.
• Well-groomed appearance with strong attention to hygiene standards.
