Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Catering Attendant in Sydney to be a vital part of our team. This position operates within a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment, focusing on preparing airline carts and supporting operational readiness for flights.

Key Responsibilities

• Disassemble airline carts and load equipment into commercial dishwashers.
• Unload dishwashers and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
• Reassemble airline carts and deliver stock to various operational workstations.
• Manage food waste, general waste, and bonded goods according to company protocols.
• Perform manual handling tasks including lifting and carrying throughout the shift.
• Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety guidelines, including HACCP, IFSA, and QSAI standards.

Candidate Profile

• Must hold full and ongoing working rights in Australia.
• Capability to pass pre-employment screenings such as National Police Check and medical assessments.
• Availability to work shifts including weekends and public holidays with the physical ability to stand for long periods.
• Comfortable working in cold and refrigerated environments.
• A strong commitment to safety, hygiene, and compliance practices.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative and supportive attitude.
• Effective communication skills and basic numeracy capability.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP is preferred.
