Role Overview

Join Tesco as a Customer Delivery Driver in Galway, where you'll be the initial point of contact for our customers, delivering their home shopping with care and professionalism. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional home shopping experience by prioritizing customer satisfaction.
• Load your delivery vehicle and verify its roadworthiness before starting your route.
• Follow the designated schedule and route plan efficiently.
• Maintain a professional appearance in uniform and interact warmly with customers.
• Drive responsibly, adhering strictly to traffic laws and road safety standards.
• Exhibit courteous behavior towards all road users.
• Provide friendly service by greeting customers by name and handling their deliveries with care.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid Irish or EU driving licence (manual or automatic) held for a minimum of 2 years with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Demonstrated safe and courteous driving habits.
• Genuine enthusiasm for assisting others.
• Personable nature paired with excellent communication skills and a good sense of humor.
• Ability to proactively take initiative and demonstrate sound judgment.
• Strong commitment to positively impacting customers and colleagues.
• Capability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Successful candidates will undergo Garda Vetting and must provide recent penalty points documentation during assessment.
• Applicants disqualified from driving within the past 10 years are ineligible.
