About the Role
At the core of our community-focused stores, which have proudly served customers for over 150 years, this role as a Night Customer Assistant is essential to ensuring smooth nightly operations. You will contribute energy and teamwork to thrive in a dynamic environment, helping provide customers with everything they expect from us daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the store for the following day by restocking shelves steadily throughout the night and handling various types of products.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of your workstation and ensure the store aisles are clean and welcoming for customers.
- Safely transfer stock from warehouse to sales floor, managing heavy equipment and containers appropriately.
- Work in multiple store sections, potentially including chilled and frozen goods areas.
- Operate equipment, handheld devices, and digital systems accurately and safely to complete tasks.
- Provide support in other tasks as needed, such as picking online orders or assisting customers at checkout after training.
